This gave an antibody response of 8 log 2 using HI. The birds were challenged with unusual virulent Saudi PPMV-1 via intramuscular (i. m) or by contact. In the light of clinical observation, immune response and virus excretion results, the vaccine gave a high level of protection against the challenging virus.
