Abstract

Mid-gut homogenates from the erly third larval instars of Gaterophilus intestinalis contain at least four glycosidases. Enzyme activity was found α-glactosidase and β-galactosidase. Also α-anylase showed activity in midcythomogenates. All enzymes has acidic pH optima of 3.6-6.A drug (Banmith 12.5% pyrante; tartarate) used for the routine control of helminthes parasites of horses and donkies in Egypt was used in vitro to investigate its effect on the optimal activity of studied enzymes.
