Abstract

Ninety out of three hundred mammary quarters of seventy-five she-camel udders were affected. Eighty-eight out of the ninety were recognized as mastitis (97.8%) and as a pre-cancerous in two 2.2%). The former was classified as subacute interstitial mastitis (45.6%), chronic intestinal mastitis (22.2%), hemorrhagic mastitis 17%), acute necrotic mastitis (3.3%), chronic pus mastitis (3.3%), acute ulcerative ga1s and mastitis (2.2%), acute diffuse mastitis (1.1%), suppurative mastitis 1.1%) and mycotic mastitis (1.1%).
